San Diego Fires Again

Well, I keep saying over and over I am going to be better about this. I should be fired. We had a small fire start today and now it is spreading and going towards the Cedar Fire path. Here we go again! It is scary it seems like we catch on fire every two years. This was the first winter I started a fire in the fire place because the smell made me nauseous. Last night I did a card making party with my First and Second Grade Sunday School Class, all we use are Magnolia stamps, they are very fond of Edwin and Tilda. It is so cute to watch them get all excited about what colors to use and which paper, they are getting very creative. The cards are for the members of our congregation illnesses, sympathy and baby cards. Now, tomorrow I need to get with out Pastor's Secretary to call me when there is someone I can mail a card out to. We got about 25 cards done last night, I love watching their little minds spinning with creativity. So tomorrow I will be cleaning some stamps one of the parents gave me. I don't understand not taking care of them and I have 4 cards to finish off for mailing the first week in Sept. Never ends. I will keep you all updated.

Wow, where does the time go? I have had a rough few days. Not only physically but mentally. My ex son-in-law decided he wants custody of my Grand kids. We always had a good relationship up until I read the court papers full of lies. I am so disappointed in him. So needless to say next week I will be going to court with her. I am wondering how he can lie and look us all in the eye. I am sure his lawyer will do all the talking.

I have been going to through my scrapbook area and putting together little extra goodies I send with my swap cards or image swaps. I love to get surprises and love to surprise others. I hope all is well with everyone. Tomorrow is the fruit stand then to Home Town Buffet for a birthday party for one of the little girls who was in my Sunday School class a couple years ago. She is such a sweetheart. Hope all of you have a great weekend.

Ok, Ok I know I have been saying for weeks I would post pictures. Between my Dad moving in with us and taking a whole lot of my card making time and being in quite a bit of pain I have not followed through on several things I have tried to do. So here they are along with some picture I think are so cute of the dogs. I have tried some new types of cards some went easier than others, but I was excited when they turned out. I also had to get a new laptop as my old one bit the dust and I was not too thrilled to have to figure out how to upload photos I had just firgured out how to do it on the last laptop. And this laptop has all new programs on it.

Wow, where has the last month gone? Things have been so crazy, I have managed to get a few cards made and will get them posted up soon. My Dad has had to come live with us, so getting our house ready and all the arrangements done has been an undertaking to say the least. My son had to first agree to move into my father's house to take care of it until we sold it and he is paying the bills so it is a great transition for him as well. I hated to see him go since he is no problem, he is 21 but works graveyard so other than to see him walk out the door he was pretty much out of site. So I owe him a lot for that. But Dad is in and my husband is the best and do not know what I would do without him. So in the next few days I will get up my new cards and go forward.

New Grandson

So tomorrow my Grandson will be making his arrival, the first three pictures are his card. The blank at the top is for his name however they have decided not to name him until he comes out and they see him. It is not a Magnolia Stamp and that is because I did not have the baby one. I love this little monkey I bought him a new outfit with the cutest little monkey on it and I am hoping they will let him wear it home from the hospital. I did not want to put the card up before today since I obviously did not want to have my daughter see it. I am pretty sure I am safe tonight as she is as OCD as her mother and I am sure repacking for the 10th time, getting Zachary and Ryan's clothes ready for the week, and the house is spotless I am sure. Good luck honey I love you.

Oops Tilda, I love her. I made this in case I forget someone's birthday. With any luck if I do I hope it is a girl since it is a girley card. And I am after all perfect. Shhhh don't tell Evon I have him convinced I am perfect. Lol... Let me know what you think.

My Pretty, Pretty Princess. These are updated pictures, posing on the porch. She has a growth they have ruled out cancer so we are so relieved. However after the antibiotics ran out (5 days) it grew again and was bigger. Princess was under the bed and found it and bit it almost all the way off so we were watching her this morning and tonight. She does seem ok. I am not sure what I would do if anything happened to her.

Well, I hopefully will have up pictures tomorrow night at this time of the bew bundle of joy along with the family. Thanks for checking in on us.

Friday June 10th

SO today I made my new Grand baby his welcome card however I do not have a Magnolia image yet so this one is a little different I will post it tomorrow, in the blank place I was leaving to put his name however he is nameless right now. It was going to be Anthony but it seems Dad and Mom are waiting to see what he looks like which I think is cool too. So he will be here on Monday if not before. Tomorrow is our Sunday School Pool party and it is cloudy, can you believe that less than 85 degrees in San Diego in the middle of June who would have thunk? Lol....So until tomorrow have a great night.
