Christmas Day

Wow, did the season come and go faster than the speed of lightning or what? Since I did not have my computer for the last month and a half I did not get to post any of my Christmas Cards I made. No two loved ones got the same card. Each was unique. I loved making them even if these are for next year. I know I am nuts, but I hated spending two days on Christmas Cards so now when we receive one I get their card out for the next year and address it and I am good to go.

I have reflected so much the last few weeks, pondering the wonderful, awesome, incredible gift Our God gave to us. His Son. Could any of us give up our child for someones sins? I know my answer is not what it should be. That is why he is such an awesome God.

I finally made the time to update my blog I am the worlds worst and tried to upload all of my pictures from my cards as wells as vacation and it wants to keep freezing up so hopefully I an try this later tonight or tomorrow in my spare time. lol.......

San Diego Fires Again

Well, I keep saying over and over I am going to be better about this. I should be fired. We had a small fire start today and now it is spreading and going towards the Cedar Fire path. Here we go again! It is scary it seems like we catch on fire every two years. This was the first winter I started a fire in the fire place because the smell made me nauseous. Last night I did a card making party with my First and Second Grade Sunday School Class, all we use are Magnolia stamps, they are very fond of Edwin and Tilda. It is so cute to watch them get all excited about what colors to use and which paper, they are getting very creative. The cards are for the members of our congregation illnesses, sympathy and baby cards. Now, tomorrow I need to get with out Pastor's Secretary to call me when there is someone I can mail a card out to. We got about 25 cards done last night, I love watching their little minds spinning with creativity. So tomorrow I will be cleaning some stamps one of the parents gave me. I don't understand not taking care of them and I have 4 cards to finish off for mailing the first week in Sept. Never ends. I will keep you all updated.

Aug. 10th, 2010

Wow, where does the time go? I have had a rough few days. Not only physically but mentally. My ex son-in-law decided he wants custody of my Grand kids. We always had a good relationship up until I read the court papers full of lies. I am so disappointed in him. So needless to say next week I will be going to court with her. I am wondering how he can lie and look us all in the eye. I am sure his lawyer will do all the talking.

I have been going to through my scrapbook area and putting together little extra goodies I send with my swap cards or image swaps. I love to get surprises and love to surprise others. I hope all is well with everyone. Tomorrow is the fruit stand then to Home Town Buffet for a birthday party for one of the little girls who was in my Sunday School class a couple years ago. She is such a sweetheart. Hope all of you have a great weekend.

Ok, Ok I know I have been saying for weeks I would post pictures. Between my Dad moving in with us and taking a whole lot of my card making time and being in quite a bit of pain I have not followed through on several things I have tried to do. So here they are along with some picture I think are so cute of the dogs. I have tried some new types of cards some went easier than others, but I was excited when they turned out. I also had to get a new laptop as my old one bit the dust and I was not too thrilled to have to figure out how to upload photos I had just firgured out how to do it on the last laptop. And this laptop has all new programs on it.

Wow, where has the last month gone? Things have been so crazy, I have managed to get a few cards made and will get them posted up soon. My Dad has had to come live with us, so getting our house ready and all the arrangements done has been an undertaking to say the least. My son had to first agree to move into my father's house to take care of it until we sold it and he is paying the bills so it is a great transition for him as well. I hated to see him go since he is no problem, he is 21 but works graveyard so other than to see him walk out the door he was pretty much out of site. So I owe him a lot for that. But Dad is in and my husband is the best and do not know what I would do without him. So in the next few days I will get up my new cards and go forward.

New Grandson

So tomorrow my Grandson will be making his arrival, the first three pictures are his card. The blank at the top is for his name however they have decided not to name him until he comes out and they see him. It is not a Magnolia Stamp and that is because I did not have the baby one. I love this little monkey I bought him a new outfit with the cutest little monkey on it and I am hoping they will let him wear it home from the hospital. I did not want to put the card up before today since I obviously did not want to have my daughter see it. I am pretty sure I am safe tonight as she is as OCD as her mother and I am sure repacking for the 10th time, getting Zachary and Ryan's clothes ready for the week, and the house is spotless I am sure. Good luck honey I love you.

Oops Tilda, I love her. I made this in case I forget someone's birthday. With any luck if I do I hope it is a girl since it is a girley card. And I am after all perfect. Shhhh don't tell Evon I have him convinced I am perfect. Lol... Let me know what you think.

My Pretty, Pretty Princess. These are updated pictures, posing on the porch. She has a growth they have ruled out cancer so we are so relieved. However after the antibiotics ran out (5 days) it grew again and was bigger. Princess was under the bed and found it and bit it almost all the way off so we were watching her this morning and tonight. She does seem ok. I am not sure what I would do if anything happened to her.

Well, I hopefully will have up pictures tomorrow night at this time of the bew bundle of joy along with the family. Thanks for checking in on us.

Friday June 10th

SO today I made my new Grand baby his welcome card however I do not have a Magnolia image yet so this one is a little different I will post it tomorrow, in the blank place I was leaving to put his name however he is nameless right now. It was going to be Anthony but it seems Dad and Mom are waiting to see what he looks like which I think is cool too. So he will be here on Monday if not before. Tomorrow is our Sunday School Pool party and it is cloudy, can you believe that less than 85 degrees in San Diego in the middle of June who would have thunk? Lol....So until tomorrow have a great night.

Stacy's Card

Stacy is a gal who works at the WalMart by our home, not sure how we ever started talking, although I believe it was Princess who took a liking to her and gets real upset if we go in the Garden department and she is not working. I found out it was her birthday and we met her Sunday after work to bring her a card and framed picture of picture, she was so excited about the picture she said it would go on her nightstand but her Mom would not hear of it, it now has a place of honor in the living room. It is hard to find those special people who go out of their way for a customer, we are now on a first name basis with the Garden Department including Shirley the greeter at the door. Stacy loves cats so the outside of the envelope I placed a Tilda with a cat and paw prints around it, I tried to figure out a way to incorporate inside and could not. I also found out her favorite colors and used those.

First time for many things

I am so excited and so many pictures to share. The cake was my 12 years old daughters birthday cake. It was made by a wonderful lady at our church, it was lavendar which is one of her favorite colors. Then is my first Tilda Card and then I got my Copics and will never go back to anything else. It is hard since I have limited funds and want them all. So the next card is one done with Copics and I am hooked. Then we have Clayton and Haley's Tilda and Edwin cards. I have been teaching my Sunday School Class that they might only be 6 and 7 but they can impact the whole church so we had a card making party to make get well cards to send. They were very excited and want to do it every few months we will see. I have to decide if I am going to teach one more year. lot has gone on this year and I am not sure. So this is enough I am sure, Oh yes I have to post Caine laying on our bed and the cats Mischief and Trouble were laying behind him.

New Grandson

This is my newest Grandson Anthony. He is 4 1/2lbs. 17" long. It is truly amazing at the technology we have today. Soon these will be in color.

Father's Day Card

Who has not had a son who brings home a stray or brought one home as a kid? This is my first Magnolia card and it is Summer Edwin and I colored it with Crayola Pencils. (I really need copic pens)I lifted the doghouse and Edwin with popdots. I love these stamps. Let me know what you think. Tilda is next maybe tonight back permitting.

Sunday May 2nd.

So it is the end of the weekend. As most of you know I teach 1st and 2nd grade in Sunday School, if they only knew how much I get from them. We had a new boy Ethan today and he is deathly scared of dogs well, 5 minutes with Princess and he was fine, his Mom was amazed. They finished up their Mothers Day cards, I will upload one when I am done with this also a picture of some of them playing with her. We are working on ways they can impact the church at their age so we are having a card making day on the 22nd they are so excited about it.

This evening my daughter called and she had another 4d sonogram and Anthony is so cute, he is 41/2 lbs and his feet measure 3 inches, yes he has the Fountain feet.

Mother's Day Card

This is a card I made last Fri. Since my precious Mom is gone, I decided I wanted to make it for the Mother of my Two Beautiful Grandchildren and soon to be three. Three Boys I really hope she loves it.

Hi All,
I am so excited to enter the world of blogging. I have met so many wonderful women who offered to help. With my disability I really am limited to what I can do. I have joined the world of card making it gives me great satisfaction no matter how simple they are. I go to some of these blogs and they are so creative. I have just discovered Tilda and can not wait to start making cards with them. As soon as I can I will update and post more as I learn.
